Welcome To The (Concrete) Jungle
The sounds of these GT cars echoing around the 1.5 mile banked oval certainly help to make this place come alive when the racing is on
In a stark contrast to British GT’s opening round at the woods based Brands Hatch GP circuit the championship moved on to the ex-steelworks of Rockingham Motor Speedway – Europe’s fastest racing circuit.
The British GT championship rolled into town for it’s annual blast around the concrete jungle of Rockingham, the sounds of these GT cars echoing around the 1.5 mile banked oval certainly help to make this place come alive when the racing is on.
Here are my images from the second round of the championship where Jonny Adam & Derek Johnston in their TF Sport Aston Martin V12 Vantage put on a dominant performance qualifying in pole position and also winning the two hour endurance race.
